Leading the foundational research for a 0→1 agentic AI product that is defining how startups and enterprises trust AI agents to act on their behalf

I led the foundational UX research for the Deployment Agent, a 0→1 agentic product and with my team took an idea from concept to a product announced in preview at the Microsoft Ignite 2025 keynote. There was no playbook for how much people would trust an AI agent to deploy their cloud workloads, so I defined the research questions and answered them with a mixed generative and evaluative research approach. I sequenced qualitative discovery interviews, a quantitative prioritization survey, prototype evaluation studies, and AI model evaluations so the team's roadmap and MVP decisions rested on triangulated evidence rather than assumption. My research also shaped human–AI interaction patterns that propagated across Azure Copilot's agent suite.
